Ep 2 - Evelyn LaChapelle - From elite college to prison cell to inspirational entrepreneur.

Evelyn LaChapelle is the Founder and CEO of 87 Months by The Weed Lady, a mission-driven cannabis company fighting for justice and equity. Through quality consumer products and advocacy initiatives, 87 Months by The Weed Lady seeks to repair the harms caused by outdated laws that imprisoned thousands for cannabis offenses.

Evelyn went from an elite SoCal private college to prison for helping out a friend. Evelyn"s story highlights how small decisions can have life time impacts.

Evelyn serves on the advisory board for the Last Prisoner Project and the leadership team of Minorities for Medical Marijuana dedicated to restorative justice in cannabis.

Evelyn also hosts The Heart of Cannabis interview series normalizing responsible use. Her journey witnessing the disparities created by the War on Drugs fuels her passion to generate opportunities for those rebuilding lives after incarceration. Through 87 Months by The Weed Lady, she celebrates cannabis bringing joy and healing when not constrained by unjust laws.
